Hey All,

So, my sister recommended I try out this meal company. She sold it to me like this...

$8.00 for two two-person meals. That's $2 per person, per meal portion. You have to try it for that price. If you don't like it, you paid nothing for a bunch of groceries, and just cancel.

Well, I did try it. Because, the groceries I received definitely would have cost me more than $8, and it came straight to my door, so I saved time and effort.

It came in a "refrigerator" box; delivered by FedEx. Very cute. It was insulated and had an ice pack in it.

The idea is that if delivered while you are at work, it should last the whole day outside. Never tested that out since we were at home when it was delivered, but it seems like it could've lasted a while.

They have a bunch of options to choose from. I chose the Family Friendly food category, for 2 meals in a box, for 2 people portion sizes.

I chose a Taco Casserole and Firecracker Calliflower with Rice for my first box, and then paused the rest of my boxes.

A very handy feature allows you to pause your boxes. If you want to try the box out and skip the next week, to give you time to decide if it's worth it- you can.

You can make it so that you receive boxes weekly, biweekly, monthly, or on occasion by skipping whichever weeks you want.

The groceries inside the Taco Casserole bag were fresh. The green onion was the only exception, one green strand was a little wilted, but nothing major.

The Taco Casserole was great, and my daughter loved it too. The "two" people it fed was myself, 5 year old daughter and 8 month old son. We went through half of it between us for one meal, so it would be fair to say the portions seem generous.

Overall, I was very happy with the meal box. It saved time, and saved a trip to the store. It was refreshing to pick something out of my normal repertoire for supper.

If you'd like to try a meal box too, head over to Chef's Plate.
