It's been an interesting month thus far, and it's not over yet.
Pains on and off, sent me to the hospital twice, and this last time they decided to take out my gallbladder.
Except, while I was in surgery, they found out my gallbladder had fused to my intestines, and ultimately didn't take out my gallbladder, yet. They spent the surgery time fixing the fused organs, and felt it was safer to let that heal first, before setting another date to remove the gallbladder.
Unfortunately, this means I'm off track for finishing up my first draft of 3S4, and it's likely going to take an extra month or two, depending on how the next surgery goes. All sorts of other things are delayed or put on the back burners for now.
For now, I'm thankful that things weren't worse off, and that the doctor was able to fix what she could. I'm on the mend, and healing up to handle the second surgery.
I'll try to keep things updated, work on the book, and see what else I can do over the next while here.
