Dezirah is the story of the plight to survive in a world ravaged by a supernatural war, as told from different points of view. The world is suddenly thrown into a World War III like no one imagined. Supernatural beings break their one thousand five hundred year old treaty to stay hidden from human knowledge. The new generations and some nostalgic individuals decide to rule the world like Supernaturals once had.
Includes Volume 1.1 (Alexa Brenner), Volume 1.2 (Nikki Marshall), and Volume 1.3 (Jaiden Kensington).
The first novel follows Alexa Brenner, a teenager faced with her world constantly in upheaval; from her family dying and her being caught in a foster system with her young niece, to a supernatural war dismantling her way of life and her needing to make an informed decision to stay with the vampire she’s in love with or fight for the safety of humans in an unfair war. We follow Alexa’s struggles through the war itself, life decisions, to the climax and subsequent ending.
The second book in the Dezirah series. Nikki grasps for her old life as she is thrust into the Supernatural apocalypse along with three of her friends. Who can she trust when all she knew has changed? Should she party until the world ends, or try to survive through it? Cornered into the West Edmonton Mall what can she do to survive when it’s only a matter of time until they are attacked?
The third and final point of view follows Jaiden as she finds herself when the world is devastated in a Supernatural revolution. One thousand five hundred years ago supernaturals signed a treaty with the humans to remain hidden and keep peace. Modern day supernaturals are tired of hiding and decide to take over. She meets humans, vampires and werewolves, but who should Jaiden fear more?
Three weeks have passed since the first attack. The world is in shambles. Chaos reigns as a power struggle begins.
Alexa watched in horror as her niece was taken by Darius and Sandra. Her feelings are conflicted between her new boyfriend and her ex. Darius still holds her heart, but Daniel cares for her. She is determined to retrieve Rayleen, but at what cost?
Nikki is trapped and tortured. Her only chance to survive long enough to escape is to convince her captors she can see the future. Using her acting skills to convince the demons she has visions might be the easy part.
Jaiden hopes to reunite with her sister. She will use her abilities and the tools at her disposal to assist her travelling group; as long as she can keep them a secret. Resistance greets her at every turn.
